Jelly Belly Factory Tour – Fairfield, CA

Jelly Belly EntranceWhile on a trip to San Francisco we decided to venture a little bit out of the city and went to visit the Budweiser Brewery and the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield. It’s about an hour outside of San Francisco and we decided to do both tours in one day. Recently I posted, Money Saving Tips, for your Big Trip – Part 1,  and Money Saving Tips, for your Big Trip – Part 2 of my 3-part money saving series.  On those posts I shared that we have 3 big trips planned this year, including Hawaii over Christmas/New Years, and needed to start saving money fast. With that in mind, I did some research and found some of the best ways to cut our expenses, thus helping us save for these precious trips.  After doing all this research I figured this might help others wanting to save and be able to take their family on a summer vacation this year.  I found 18 money saving tips that can help make these trips possible. There is a lot of information, so I decided the break up the list into 3 separate posts. Here are the final 6 suggestions of this series. Hope you find one  or more tips that you can use to save money for a future trip. Continue reading Money Saving Tips, for your Big Trip – Part 3

Bacardi Bldg

One of the more unique and interesting places we visited  while traveling was Puerto Rico.  We have been a lot of places, but this seems to be the place that most people ask about when they find out we were there. I have to say Puerto Rico is truly amazing and really enjoyed our few days there. One thing we both enjoyed quite a bit was our tour of the Casa Bacardi Rum facility. I am not a huge drinker, but when I do, I usually like something with rum in it. Thus I was very interested to see the facility and learn more about their company.
