6_monthsFirst of all, a HUGE thank you to all of my readers. I appreciate you more than you know. You have kept me going with your comments and suggestions. It has been a fun but busy 6 months and I look forward to what the next 6 months will bring. For those bloggers out there reading my posts, you know what I mean. Anheuser Busch Brewery Lights in St. Louis, Missouri

Brewery LightsA few years ago we had a great time at the Anheuser–Busch Holiday Brewery Lights in St. Louis while visiting family over Thanksgiving. I was a little sad that we wouldn’t be able to go this year again, but I am beyond excited to share that the location here in Fort Collins, CO is also doing the Holiday Brewery Lights this year too! Sturgis – Home of the Annual Motorcycle Rally

sturgishillWhile in the area visiting Mount Rushmore National Monument and Crazy Horse Memorial , we decided to check out the  interesting city of Sturgis. It was founded in 1878 and was originally named Scooptown. It was named this because many of the residents “scooped up” their pay from nearby Fort Meade. Its name was later changed to Sturgis in honor of the Civil War Union General Samuel D. Sturgis. Today that is approximately 6,800 residents. Four Unique Restaurants in Rapid City, South Dakota

RestaurantsWe just returned back from South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore National Monument and Crazy Horse Memorial. Part of the fun of traveling is trying new restaurants. Thus, we always like to try some non-chain restaurants or at least chains that are not in our area. Of course, we had to hit a few of those while out and about but we were able to find a few unique restaurants.
