Thousands upon thousands came to see the majestic Cauldron lit during the 2010 Winter Games. With the Games complete, the Cauldron remains as a permanent landmark on the Jack Poole Plaza. One of the main things I wanted to see and do while we were in Vancouver was checking out Lynn Canyon Park. This amazing park features a suspension bridge that sways 50 meters above the canyon. This was the attraction that had me wanting to visit and explore the park. The canyon also offers a selection of walking and hiking trails that connect to other parks in the region such as Lynn Headwaters, Rice Lake, and Inter River Park. It is huge and very beautiful. One of the top few things I wanted to do in Vancouver was visit Stanley Park. I can happily say we visited the park a couple of times and it is quite beautiful. We weren’t there in the fall, but I could imagine how nice it would be in October or November. Continue reading “Explore Beautiful Stanley Park with Us”

It was absolutely amazing. I know I say that a lot, but it really was. It is the only place in Vancouver that you can enjoy a 360º aerial view of Vancouver. The best part was that it was an all-day ticket and we were able to go back later that evening after dinner. Continue reading “The Vancouver Lookout Tower at Harbour Centre”
The contest is now over and we have a WINNER!!! Thank you to all who entered.
Two weeks from tomorrow we are heading to the amazing city of Vancouver in Canada. I am looking forward to exploring and see what this city has to offer. However, Vancouver is an expensive city so I decided to do a little searching for some of the free activities in the area. I also wanted to share the fun with you, my readers. Details on the raffle and how to win a free Vancouver souvenir are below. As soon as we return home I am going to do several posts about our trip, but until then, here are some free activities that I found to keep us busy while exploring. 🙂 Continue reading “Win a Souvenir from our Upcoming Trip to Vancouver”
