Breathtaking Red Sandstone Formations in Sedona, AZ

To say Sedona is beautiful or gorgeous is a huge understatement. It has to be one of the most exquisite places in the southwest. It’s something you have to see for yourself. The locals say there is magic in the handsome red-rocks, and I believe them. I was definitely smitten from the first time I saw them. We got there at night, so we didn’t get to see them until we woke up. What a site to wake up to. I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I opened the room blinds.  We stayed at the Sedona Summit, which was part of our time share we had at the time. Trafalgar Square in London – The Heart of the City

While on a trip to London we had to stop and check out Trafalgar Square. It was really amazing, even though it was cold and we got rained on quite a bit. Lol It is an interesting little square with a lot of history. The square contains a large central area with roadways on three sides and a terrace to the north, in front of the National Gallery. The roads around the square form part of the A4, a major road running west of the City of London. The square was formerly surrounded by a one-way traffic system, but apparently in 2003 some work was done which reduced the width of the roads and closed the northern side to traffic.  Continue reading “Trafalgar Square in London – The Heart of the City”

St Patricks Cathedral, New York

St Patricks cathedral bldgWhile running around Midtown one day we ended up near St Patricks Cathedral. It is a decorated Neo-Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral church in the United States and a prominent landmark of New York City. One of my aunts, and my best friend, are both Catholic, and I have been to Mass with both of them at several different churches. However, I have never have I been in one as grand as this.
