I am pleased that our trip to Chicago, IL is only two weeks away. We are heading there for a convention Thursday through Sunday, but decided to head out the weekend before and play in Chicago for a few days. Gene has been to Chicago for work, and I have both been there to watch the Angels play the White Sox, but we’ve never been to Chicago together. We are looking forward to doing some sightseeing. Have you ever been to the River Walk in San Antonio? I had heard of this place for many years but had never been to that part of Texas. Finally we made it to the San Antonio area and it was on the top of our to-do list. Living in southern for most of my life, I have spent a few weekends in Catalina. It’s only a short hour boat ride from Long Beach, but it seems like a world away. I love that it is so small and everyone gets around on golf carts. It definitely seems like a less stressful life than living in other parts of southern CA.
