We recently got back from a trip to St. Louis MO to see some family and friends. However it was just the beginning of a crazy month that left me with a horrible cold and cough that won’t go away.  From St Louis I left and went to Boston for a week, then came home for a week until we flew out to CA for my great nieces 1st birthday party. It was so sweet and I enjoyed seeing a few friends even though it was a short trip. When we returned we brought my 18 year nephew home with us to celebrate our birthdays and explore a little of CO. I worked some and took a few days to play, but it was crazy. I still haven’t downloaded all of my pictures yet – gasp. I just haven’t had time to breathe with so much traveling etc. I even went to Boston with mostly dirty clothes because I didn’t have time to wash them before we left Missouri. However, I had a great time and the cold was worth all the wonderful times. Here are a few posts from St. Louis. FYI, not all of them are from our most recent trip. Enjoy

Our next scheduled trip is to New Orleans, Louisiana over New Year’s Eve. I can’t wait to hear some amazing jazz and try some delicious gumbo. We are staying at an Airbnb and hope to explore the area some as well as the French Quarter. Definitely looking forward to visiting Cafe Du Monde and indulging on some of their fresh, hot beignets. I think it will be cool to maybe take a ghost tour and I look forward to watching the fireworks from Jackson Square. Check back in the middle of January for posts from NOLA.

I love this idea! I think you should name it the Taki Travels or Taki Travelers! You and Gene are adorable and do really get around, so I can’t wait to read all about it!
