Top 4 Destinations on Our 20th Anniversary List

I am having a major case of wanderlust and can’t help day dreaming about our 20th wedding anniversary next year. We have some trip planned for almost every month this year, but I can’t stop thinking about spending two weeks in Europe somewhere next May. We are going to use miles, so I can’t actually start looking until June (they start booking 11 months out). This might be part of the issue, as I keep thinking of places on our bucket list, then I read a post, or blog about another amazing place, and now it’s in the mix, lol. But we have narrowed it down to the top 4 places that are on the top of our list. Continue reading “Top 4 Destinations on Our 20th Anniversary List”

Top 5 Memorable Places I Want to Visit Again

We have been blessed, and have been able to travel quite a bit. Not as much as we would like, but definitely more than a lot of people I know. No matter where we go, or how long we are there, it never seems to be enough time. I always leave sad and wanting more time to explore and learn to appreciate what the country, city or area has to offer. Sadly a week, or even two weeks is not enough. While we have traveled a lot, there have been a few places that grabbed me, and I find myself day-dreaming about being able to visit again one day.  Today, I want to visit these 5 cities and countries again.  There is so much more to see and do  🙂  Continue reading “Top 5 Memorable Places I Want to Visit Again”

Top Four Places Currently on our Bucket List

Bucket List Writing my post My Childhood Dream of Being a Flight Attendant reminded me of my bucket list I created when I was a young child. Happily I have been able to mark a few of these off my list. However, as I have gotten older and Gene and I have traveled more, it has only made my bucket list pages and pages. Seems like a never ending list, lol.  Every time we travel, we speak to someone else and learn of another place that we want to visit. Of course there are a few places which are on the top of our bucket list. I’d like to share 4 of them today, and why they are high on our list.  They are not in any particular order.  Continue reading “Top Four Places Currently on our Bucket List”

My Childhood Dream of Being a Flight Attendant One Day

Flight Attendant When I was little I had made a list of all the things I wanted to do by the time I was a certain age and what I wanted to be when I grew up. On the top of my list was to visit places like France, England, Greece, Germany and Italy. I thought that being a flight attendant and seeing the world had to be the best job ever! They got to see everything I wanted to see and get paid to do it. Little did I know than that most flight attendants don’t ever see much more than the airport and the hotel where they get shuttled off to for a few hours’ sleep. Museo de Egizie – A Must See in Turin, Italy

Museo_Egizio_OutsideOur trip to Turin Italy was amazing. Even though we didn’t have much time there, we tried to see and do as much as we could. The main reason we went was to see the  Museo de Egizie  and try some local food 🙂 Today’s post is about the museum, but I also wanted to share a few things that left some lasting impressions.   Continue reading “Museo de Egizie – A Must See in Turin, Italy”
