The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza – Dallas

Sixth Floor MuseumAs I write this post, it is the dawn of a very sad day in American history. It is the day John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, TX. With that said, I wanted to share our visit to The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza in his honor. It was eye opening and very sad. I wasn’t born yet when he was assassinated, but my mom and grandma have told me stories about remembering where they were and what they were doing when they heard he was killed. World’s Tallest Obelisk – Washington Monument

100 Years of Flight in Kitty Hawk, NC

 Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, a small city which probably wouldn’t be as famous had the Wright Brothers not chosen it to be the place they would make history. According to the website www.kittyhawk.com they state that Kitty Hawk which was once a remote area, has grown into a summer resort area and provides some of the best beach recreation on the North Carolina Coast.
