I love the quote, be a traveler, not a tourist. Many people may not get this, or like me, have a hard time letting go of wanting to see everything. I have gotten much better at this, but, it’s still hard for me. However, as we travel more, and it becomes more of a focus for us, I find it easier. Recently I posted, Money Saving Tips, for your Big Trip – Part 1,  and Money Saving Tips, for your Big Trip – Part 2 of my 3-part money saving series.  On those posts I shared that we have 3 big trips planned this year and needed to start saving money fast. We have quite a few trips planned for 2017 and I am very excited.  We are heading to Seattle in February, Phoenix in March, California in April, a road trip to Pagosa Springs and Canon City in May, Daytona and Orlando in June, St. Louis in September and New Orleans for New Years. As thrilled as I am about these wonderful trips, they all come with big price tags.
